My Summer Casual: Sperry Top-Sider

I love heels and hate the fact that I'm only 5'3". However, my feet have been ruined every summer... no well, every season by my stubborn will to wear only heels. So I took a plunge and started searching for comfortable shoes without having to sacrifice the "look" too much. In all honestly, I'd love to be walking around in my all-too-ugly-only-meant-for-running Rebok sneakers but...

That being said, I don't think I was ever a boat shoes girl but I recently saw it featured in several Youtubers' videos and they looked quite stylish in a way, yet extremely comfortable looking. The brand Sperry Top-Sider is the first and original company to start the whole "boat shoes" thing and they can be quite pricey. They run usually in the $89.95 range. I bought mine from Nordstrom.

I bought two with a plan to return one. I eventually decided on the "Angelfish" boat shoes in Rose Gold. It's cute and the metallic is perfect for summer, and since it's a warmer metallic, I think it'll be fine in the cooler seasons as well. Also, the Rose Gold color is an "exclusive" color that may remain as a permanent sell or be a limited edition.

When I first tried it on, the fit was too good to be true. The other shoe from Sperry I tried on was the Platinum original boat shoe and I found it made my feet look LONG. Advice: they say to go 1/2 size down because it has a slightly larger fit. I'm originally a 7 but went for a 6.5 and it fits perfectly! The one I decided on looks really cute and matches pretty much all casual and semi-casual outfits!

What Sperry's do you own? x

NOTD: Dior Vernis "Safari Beige" 219

If you've watched or read my Sephora Haul post, you'll know I raved on about Dior's "Safari Beige" nail polish-- that it's simply the nude of all nudes, the truest to a "nude" you'll ever find. I wasn't joking about it. Nope.

I had forgotten how gorgeous Dior's Vernis' are. The applicator is AMAZING, and I know I say that for a lot of things but hear me out. The brush is pointed and thick so that literally for most of your nails, you can just press it down and it'll cover the entire nail. How easy! It is so easy to apply!

The next amazing thing besides color, applicator, is the texture itself. Holy Moly! Thick, creamy, luxurious, and terribly terribly chic! The gloss is gorgeous and no matter how damaged your nails are, this thing will cover it up and make it smooth as a baby's bottom.

Price is a con, but I'm thinking... you sure get what you pay for.

Applied this with a 30second dry Sally Hansen top coat. First I thought it was dry completely in 30 seconds, but it meant dry to touch. Eh, I guess I was expecting too much. But this top coat also guarantees ZERO chipping, so yay for that! It definitely is dry to touch in 30 seconds but as my rule goes, I won't risk it until I can tap my nails together and hear that nice plastic-y sound! (You know what I mean)

Looking chic and classic :)

Tarte LipSurgence Tints

I'm loving Tarte products at the moment! Everything I try from their line seems to make me happy. Recently in my search for different lip tints and stains, I came across this Lipsurgence tint from Tarte. It looks similar to the lip stains+balm from say Clinique and Revlon. I haven't tried any of them, but as for the Revlon, I heard it can be drying especially for those who have overly dry lips.

Now, without further ado I'd like to say that this lip product says to increase lip moisture up to 6000%. I don't even know what 6000% means, but I sure can see where the moisture comes to play. When you put this on, it simply just glides on your lips. Your lips feel absolutely moisturized, as though you were putting on a lip balm. It has a smell of a lip balm as well, and overall you see your lips just glossy and moisturized throughout the day. I've worn this the entire day and never had any cases of chapping.

If you've read my Sephora Haul post, you'll know that I had some problem with lip tints and stains because they had a tendency to be drying as well as blotty. The product would not apply evenly and over a few hours, it would be blotchy and uneven. I wanted clean and almost perfect lips even when using the lip stain.

That's what's so great about this Tarte one. It has such an efficient and easy applicator. It's a stick that you don't need to sharpen. You simply scroll the bottom part and up it goes! It's shaped as a pencil so when you want a precise lip line, this is ever so handy. I also love that it's thick so it wouldn't take so long.

The pigmentation is gorgeous and buildable. I don't want too heavily pigmented stains that just give you an explosion of color that if you were to mess up, there's no other way out (like I've heard of the OCC lip tars). I wanted something that was rich but buildable. You can start sheer and make it a full on lipstick texture. I tend to go for that full-on color because I think it brings out such a nice vibrancy.

The color I bought was "Joy" and although it is a light orange, somehow it transfers coal on my lips! It has an orange with a slight red to it and I love it so much! They have brighter oranges available, but I love that a seemingly subtle color actually transfers so richly and nicely on my lip! I guess the contact of orange on red lips make it that coral, who knows! The point is, it's a really nice color.

Now the wear is amazing too. It lasts hours and eventually the balm texture disappears, or dries. However, that doesn't mean it dries up your lips. The balm texture simply disappears but your lips are hydrated from all that moisture lock-in. You are then left with a fine tint of the color from before, and it's gorgeous.

It isn't thought as permanent as some lip stains can get. If you wash your face, this'll come off. That could be something you want or not, but I don't need to tattoo my lips for THAT long. Also, I know I will be carrying this in my bag 24/7 and with the application so easy, I wouldn't mind popping this on any time during the day.

GAH! Love this so much. I feel like PR-ing this everyone I know :) Go try it out guys, it's AMAZING! They have three different kinds-- luster, matte, and tint. The tints are the most famous ones and preferably my favorite as well. Luster is glossy and shiny. Matte is... well, matte. Tints are everything I just said it was. Each kind has about six shades I believe, and they are all so nice!

I'm going to save up and get myself another shade because I love this so much! Until then, I shall enjoy this as much as I can :)

NOTD: NARS Version of Baby Pink in "Trouville"

We've got all sorts of Baby Pink nail polishes out there, but I think this one is my favorite! I had forgotten how good the higher end nail polishes are. I realize sometimes you get what you pay for. Featured in yesterday's Sephora Haul was this goody, Nars "Trouville". It is baby pink in every sense of the word.

I fashioned it with a few other accessories of mine that are baby pinks as well. I've got my Nikon J1 in baby pink, my lip perfection gel from Perfékt that I bought yesterday as well, and my polka-dotty Kate Spade iPhone case (which has a pink bumper).

There is more true pink, if ever there is such a thing, in this shade of Nars than any other baby pinks I've used. Some other more white-based, purple-based, pastel-based, etc., but this one seems like a good ol' baby pink with the awesomest gloss to it! It has a wet look to the gloss and I love that!

The applicator for Nars nail polish is amazing, and what's not to love about their packaging!

I feel this color is perfect all year around, but even more so in the summer. It's not a flashy color which I like, but it makes its statement nonetheless. The only downside is that it took me an hour and a bit more for it to dry completely. I sat immobile and unproductive as I waited for my nails to dry. I ran out of my quick-dry spray from Sephora so I had nothing but time to use.

Also, the shade is so versatile. You can put one, two or even three layers of it. Unfortunately, ever since I started wearing a lot of nail polishes, my nails have grown ridges and chip a lot. Two coats didn't seem enough. With the third coat however, it was just the finish I wanted (perhaps the reason why it took so long)!

Anyway, love this shade! What are some of your favorite baby pink nail polishes?

Sephora Haul ♥f Shame

I'm calling this a "Haul of Shame" because honestly, I think I bought a lot. Still I proceed by saying that  this is by far one of my most exciting hauls! I am so in love with each and every product that I sit now to remind myself that I must contain myself in order to write this blog in a professional manner. That being said, I believe I was in Sephora for 40 minutes plus and my primary goal was to find "THE LIP STAIN". With the summer full on approaching, even lipsticks seem to be bother me. Tints are long-lasting, dyed into skin, and just an easy flush and prettiness to the face. I've tried the all famous Benetint from Benefit several times but I don't seem to get along with that at all! It dries me out, and the color does not evenly work on skin. Also the applicator bugs me a lot. That being said, I wanted something that would give me great pigmentation, wonderful texture, zero heaviness, and efficient sleek applicator.

I picked up three of the ones that does just what I was looking for! First off is the Tarte LipSurgence in the color "Joy". Can I just say now that I am really starting to love Tarte products? After that one blush I bought a few weeks back, I'm building trust with that brand. That being said, this lip stain  is beautiful. The shades are various and though I wanted the pink or red shade, this orange shade seemed to suit me very well. It is oh so moisturizing that it will leave your lips swimming in its own moisture. (Don't mind my weird descriptions!) There were darker or brighter shades of orange than the one I bought but this color was pigmented enough! It made my lips look clean and supple and the color was gorgeous!

The second lip stain I bought was from a brand called Perfékt. This brand is very new to me but it seems it's been in Sephora for quite some time. I came across this brand through instagram. One of the girls I was following posted a picture of this babe and said it was the PERFECT LIP STAIN. So, I had to go try it out for myself today. And lo and behold! It truly was astoundingly nice! I bought mine in the color Hollywood and it's this really glam vibrant red color, the perfect shade I was looking for! It has such a unique texture and the applicator is more than amazing. This is supposed to be a lip treatment with intense pigmentation, that leaves your lips not only feeling great but looking great. I can also say that this lasts ages. I still have a blot of this on my hand where I swatched it, hours since I erased it with a makeup remover. I can't say enough about how this is very quickly becoming a fave of mine!

Next is the well hyped about lip stain from YSL. Yes, I know. I'm much behind the hype but I'm with you guys now, aren't I? I was hesitant to buy it but I thought I'd give it a try. It's a lip gloss like "thing" that dries as a matte finish, leaving your lips looking like they have lipstick on when it's been merely transferred as a stain! Complicated? Well, I believe that's what it does. Whereas my Tarte lip tint is glossy, this is less like so. I heard it could be a bit drying so I'll have to watch out for that. So far, I don't have a problem with it. The shade I have is in 10, a beautiful vibrant red again! The content is creamy and the packaging shouldn't even be a discussion. It's a beaut!

I also picked up a Clarins UV Plus Day Screen to wear with my new favorite foundation, NARS Sheer glow. The foundation doesn't have SPF so I needed something to wear underneath-- something that was lightweight and oil-free. I tried this on at the store and was more than impressed at the texture and finish of this sunscreen. FYI, I had wearing sunscreens so if I'm willing to use this, it means a lot :)

Next I picked up another NARS eyeshadow duo in the color Isolde, which was actually they first eyeshadow I really wanted to buy from Nars. But I resisted because I thought I could do away with my NAKED palette from Urban Decay. However, every time I pass by the Nars counter, this thing just begs me to be picked up. So, today I've caved in! Really creamy, beautiful pigmentation-- by far the best out of all the Nars eyeshadows!

Finally, I have two nail polishes I bought. One is from Dior. Their Safari Beige 219. A true nude I say. Not pink-nude, not brown-nude, and not gray-nude. Just a nude-nude! Lovely I say, just lovely! The other nail polish is the Nars Trouville which is the sweetest baby pink pea you'll ever see. It's just irresistible!

So here they are, my thoughts on them and why I bought each and every one. Now I'm going to take these essentials under the bush and resist myself from wanting to buy other things on my want-list. This is truly a bit of a haul of shame for me, but judge me not! I've been wanting these for ages and besides, a girl can splurge like this one in awhile... right? :)

Zara Bright Neon Yellow Dress

Yes, yes. I took a picture of myself in the fitting room. We girls do that often, don't we? Here is a Zara dress that I tried on today. It's a bright, super bright neon-y yellow dress made of lace. It comes with a long inner wear so that the dress wouldn't be see-through. I love this dress so much! It's perfect for the summer days.

Yay or nay? :)

PUMP it up! (Nars Foundation)

I knew the problem even before it was a problem-- that the Nars liquid foundations did not come with a pump and therefore was a bit inconvenient and unhygienic. I didn't think I would have too much problem without a pump so I simply purchased my Nars Sheer glow without much thought.

A week into using this foundation and I've went on the Nordstrom website and ordered myself the Nars pump ($6) designed for their liquid foundations (Sheer glow and sheer matte). I thought, GREAT!

I received it today and all was well. I unscrewed the cap and replaced it with this Nars-y pump and was all happy to think how easy everything was going to be...

Until I tried to closed the big outer cap onto the pump.

It didn't fit! That would mean that if you were to use the pump and you needed to carry it around, you'd have to hope that the pump wouldn't somehow untwist itself into opening and screwing up your makeup bag or something!

Another bothersome thing is that it isn't so pretty without that sleek cap to complete the look of its sleek rectangular bottle. (Yes these things matter!)

So now that I've already replaced my little cap for this pump, I am bothered! I thought Nars designed it "specially"for their foundation bottles, which would mean that the outer lid/cap thing would fit nicely!

I realized then that I remembered someone saying that one of the MAC liquid foundations had the pump that fit the Nars foundations as well. Again, I don't know if it'll be the same case as this one where it fits the bottle but not the lid!

If only it did fit, I would be such a happy chapper!

Anyone know of other ideas? x

5 Reasons for Loving my NARS Concealer

I am currently loving my Nars concealer. The shade I have is Medium1 "Custard". I find this concealer so perfect to carry around and it's always in my bag when I'm out and about.

What I love so much about this concealer is 1) the packaging is just awesome. 2) the concealer is not cake at all and although the coverup is not as great as other concealers I have used, it gives you this general blur to the areas of blemishes that helps reduce focus to problem areas and emphasis in clearer areas 3) the concealer is great for brightening the skin while covering blemishes because when I am out and my foundation has sort of faded away, when I pop this all over my face and blend it in with my fingers, I am instantly fresh again! 5) texture is amazing and it just glides onto your skin without any heavy feeling!

The cons now would be that the pigmentation or the actual "cover up" isn't 100% guaranteed. I've tried Benefit's and MAC's concealers and I find that they do a better job in actually "erasing" blemishes. Nars concealer isn't as great in that aspect. However, like I've mentioned in the above, I find the 5 pros I find about this concealer worth the purchase. I've also found it hard to find my shade of concealers but Nars had just the perfect shade for me! Another con might be that it does not last forever... not that anything does, but I haven't tested this out perfectly yet but it does seem that it fades and erase over time. But that's why the packaging is so important to me! So that I can easily fix up my face again.

The thing is I dislike powdered face, although I often see that powder products really do the job of coverage. Sometimes though the primary makeup you had on when you left the house is completely changed when to "fix it" you destroy the natural look of it by caking your face with powder. I think that's why I like to use a concealer just in few areas that a powder that might make my face look heavy.

You can see that you barely see the actual product when blended. You can see a fine brightening concealed area right where I wrote "w/ blending". It just goes to show how lovely the texture is and how smooth it blends into skin.

As you can see, I do enjoy using the Nars concealer! What are some of your favorite concealers?

Phytojoba Intense Hydrating Mask

I received this hair treatment product in my May Glossybox. As I've mentioned before in my previous posts I'm not all that into hair so I've heard about Phyto (a French brand) before but didn't know much about it. But they seem to be one of the best hair care treatments out there. That being said, I was excited to try this. It's for dry hair and it "intensely hydrates".

Directions for use goes as such: You shampoo your hair and apply a quarter amount to wet hair. You comb through with fingers to evenly distribute products over entire head of hair, focusing on ends. Leave on for 2-5 minutes (I put it on longer) and rinse thoroughly!

I absolutely love this. When I was away in Texas for a few days, I was stuck with the worst shampoos and conditioners... and on top of that, I spent swimming in the pool for a few hours. That killed my hair. I came back and immediately had this in my hair. Now it's soft and smooth again!

It is an instant effect. This is the travel size but I might go out and get the full size when I run out.

What's in my June Birchbox?

I received a very unexpected mail today. It was the June Birchbox! The reason why it was so unexpected was because I had originally subscribed for a monthly subscription. I thought that meant you had to place an order each month. That being said, I disliked my first ever Birchbox which was the GossipGirl special. I blogged about it before, but long story short- I thought I had unsubscribed!

But I wasn't! So when I saw this in the mail today, I was like HUH?! But at the same time, I was really curious as to see what they would've filled it in this time. I hoped that it would be better than the last one and I thought, even if it wasn't... it was $10 and I could spare it... I guess...

But, it was so much better! I didn't feel ripped off at all this time. The misfortune is that although the products are good and all, they were compiled for those who love the bronzing and the tanning. Of the few girls in the world who stay away from those, I am one... so I found most of the products to not suit me very well. Yet, I thought I could give some of them a try.

One though that I was very fond of was the theBalm lip tint. I love lip products and I can't wait to try this one. The serum from Stila is also great, but again... I go for whitening brightening products... not so much the bronze look. It feels great and does great things I believe, but I don't know how often I'll be using this. Perhaps any one of you are interested in receiving it as a giveaway? Leave comments down below if you're interested. If no one is, I'll just keep it.

There were also self-tanning pads which I might use to fix the bit of discoloration on my legs and thighs.

I also received the Taylor Swift fragrance sample which is sweet and fruity, but not something I like all too much.

Lastly was their bonus item which was the chocolate peppermint bar. Yes, a food in the box! After I blogged it, I ate it right away :)

All in all, I'd rate it a 3.5/5 which is pretty good compared to what I would've rated the last box... a 1/5. However this time it's only my preference that got in the way. I'm sure the peeps who love the summer focused products will go jolly knuckles over them! (Jolly knuckles is not even a word.)

Anyway, what do you guys think? xx

NOTD: Essie "Fiji"

Hello hello! Today's post is going to be a short one, just sharing my love for Essie's "Fiji" nail polish that I featured in my recently posted "Drugstore Haul". It's truly baby pink color with a pastel white undertone. It would make your hands look more "tan" which I know some people love. It's a really pretty color and I'd wear it only that it's a bit too white for my like. I often find that when I have bright nail polishes on, it distracts me and makes me keep looking down at my nails! That's fine if you're a beauty girl, but I find it hard when trying to study :(

Anyway, but it really is a pretty color (hence I keep looking at my nails!) The first picture down below was right after I finished my top coat. Unfortunately, I haven't painted them well so you could see all the side marks. Oops!

NARS Kuala Lumpur

I am currently loving Nars eyeshadow duo "Kuala Lumpur". Crazy name with such beautiful colors. It is very pigmented and creamy, and the two blend very well with each other. I put the lighter shade all over my lid and take the darker color at the ends and blend it together. I love the plum color on the eyelids. It gives such a sultry and fun look. I've been meaning to look for a purple-plum color as I've heard it brings out the dark eyes.

These two definitely work really well together. I might pop in a brighter color still towards the front in the inner corners because in the summer it might feel the colors are a bit dark. But they are buildable so you can play it soft or make it more sultry!

I'm keeping an eye out for some other Nars eyeshadows. I love the texture and colors that the Nars range has!

Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray

I was first introduced to the world of Bumble and Bumble by my friend who said she was offered a haircut by one of the Bb students(?). But I wasn't one to spend money on hair products so I did no further research... until my obsession with all these great beauty bloggers online! yay...

Anyway, I've always been told that my unruly, curly, thick, and lots of hair is unmanageable. I started chemically straightening my hair really early on, and now I've moved over to the Keratin straightening treatment. I might blog about that in a different post since I have much to say about the wonders of doing treatment over say, Magic straight perms or Japanese straightening.

So once I get my hair straightened, styling is something you just don't see with me. But as I said before, I've been wanting to try some few things here and there and one of things I picked up about a month or two ago was the Bumble and Bumble "Surf spray", which I bought at Space NK in Soho, NYC.

It does just what it says it will. It gives you that beachy tousled hair. It adds volume to your hair and it shapes just the way you touch up on it, which is nice. Because you can build with this spray, you can have a subtle voluminous tousled hair look or go extreme and have that really "just from the beach" sexy hair look. You can apply it either on wet or dry hair, but I've found it's easier after I've dried my hair to just spray this near the middle-ends of my hair.

One difficulty I found with my hair was that since I had chemically/treated straightened my hair, unless I made a few natural curls or "tuck-ins" in my hair, this spray would just make my hair even straighter and very unattractive. So what I do is wash my hair and sleep with my hair tousled overnight. That way when I wake up, I have a natural curl throughout my hair. Then I spray this minimally all over, near the bottoms, and it gives a very nice look.

For those who hate crunchy feeling, well... this gives you some crunch. But if you spray it minimally it shouldn't be that bad. It is a salt-infused spray so for those with really damaged hair... you might want to do some hair masks before using this too often.

Otherwise, for a sexy beach tousled careless hair... :) this sure is great!

NARS Sheer Glow Foundation

I get especially excited to blog when I find something I know I will purchase over, and over, over again. I know I'm behind in joining the hype and love for the Nars Sheer Glow foundation but I'm here now, ain't I? And I'm loving it to bits!

I have been using my Chanel Perfection Lumiere for quite some time now. Loved the color range for Chanel and I just loved the fit to my skin. It also has a nice coverage so I enjoyed it. But, the only thing is I didn't feel a "special bond" to it. I still will use it, but with the summer coming, I wanted something "sheer" yet with a good coverage.

I've seen a lot of bloggers say great things about this foundation. But they also said that unlike its name "sheer glow" it's rather matte. Nars recommends that oily skin use the matte foundation and the drier skin to use the sheer glow. But I went with the reviews online and went for the sheer glow. The color I bought was Light 5, Fiji.

Nars is absolutely wonderful in their color range.  I have a yellow undertone so I had NO problem finding the color I wanted. So the color range was a check for me.

Then the consistency. Oh my dear heavens. It is exactly what it says. "SHEER". But the coverage was absolutely amazing. Chanel's Perfection Lumiere covers but you've got a bit of the heavy feeling to it, especially when you apply it on your face with a brush. You feel it really thick, although I have to say, considering what it seems it doesn't feel all too heavy after the application.

But this Nars sheer glow is sheer with a surprising medium to full coverage. The wear is really long as well. It's one of those full day wears I'd say, and in the summer-- I get pretty oily...

However, unlike some of the reviews I've read-- I do find that this foundation DOES give a glow. It looks natural, sheer, and brings out a slight glow to your face. Now in the summer, I resist "glow" because the oil does that job. But the glow that this foundation gives is really subtle and natural. Nothing you need to fear because you have oily skin.

When you apply it, it goes on ever so smoothly. I just love everything about it!

I find myself reaching for this foundation MUCH more. I've done a swatch of my Chanel and Nars. In Chanel I wear a 20 Beige and in Nars, Light 5 Fiji. The Fiji is slightly darker... ever so slightly than my Chanel. I'm not sure if you could see the difference but it's there.

I do love them both, but I have to say, Nars Sheer Glow is making me ever so satisfied :)

"Cute As A Button"⎪Essie

You're as Cute as a Button I say!

This Essie nail polish is the prettiest cutest color for the summer. It's a hot pink with just no other way to describe it but fresh, pretty in pink :)

Applied it on my friend's nails today. She's in love! I also added the Sally Hansen Double Duty top coat for that extra shine. I'm posting pictures in different lights so you can get a just of how pretty this is.

Be cute as a button this summer everyone!! xx

Exposed⎪Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush

The great thing about the blog community is that you get to know things you wouldn't have known or discovered on your own. Sometimes I fall into a set pattern and use only what I use. I'm kind of wary on hypes because it may just be a hype. But recently, I've found a few bloggers whom I consider my beauty bibles-- and they've mentioned on several notes, the brand Tarte.

I've got to say, never thought of trying their products until these respectable wonderful bloggers mentioned them! The two recommended blushes from Tarte were "Exposed" and "Tipsy". "Tipsy" is an orange-coral blush and since I am already satisfied with Benefit "Coralista" I thought I'd give "Exposed" a try.

It's a beige with a pink base. When I read the reviews, I read that the blush just gave the most natural yet defined look on the face. On days you're looking for a natural defined look but nothing too heavy, you can go for this.

I bought it a few days ago and I haven't stopped wearing it since! It really is a natural sheer yet buildable blush color. It almost acts as a contouring blush so it does the duo effect. It looks a bit darker and mauve-pink in real life, but when you take a brush and sweep it on your face, you see that the beige works really well with all skin tones. I think the blush is on the very sheer side so it can work really well with pale skin. Because I am pretty tan, I find myself building it around my cheekbones about three times.

The effects are really nice! It narrows your face, defines your contours, gives a slight natural flush, and doesn't make you look "too heavy". I love it indeed! It's completely matte and I think that's what gives a more natural look.

It's a good price of $24. The packaging doesn't look like much I have to say but the content is quite lovely. I've heard many a good things when I had this blush on so yay for that! :)

May 2012 Favorites

It's June everyone! How time does pass! I think one of the great things about blogging is that you, by means of these monthly posts and keeping track of your beauty patterns, also become aware of time passing. Whereas if you aren't blogging, sometimes the fine lines between days and months can just become a blur.

That being said, I've had a few monthly favorites. I pretty much love all the products I use, and unlike most beauty girls, the amount of products I have are minimal. I try to keep myself aware of the fact that I have "enough" and try not to let my love for trying new things get out of hand. However, like most people, I do cave to my desires time to time.

Some of them are newfound discoveries like Nuxe's "Reve de Miel", ByTerry's Liquid eyeliner, and the makeup brush cleanser called "Blendercleanser". Otherwise, I've been using most of these products for awhile.

Here is the full list of the products:

  • NAKED palette from Urban Decay
  • Chanel Perfection Lumiere Foundation (20 Beige)
  • Tom Ford Lipstick (Violet Fatale)
  • MAC "Hue" lipstick
  • Essie "Neo Whimsical"
  • Butter London "Tea with the Queen"
  • Blendercleanser
  • Diptyque "Oyedo"

I also uploaded a video talking about each product. Here it is :)

May Glossybox USA

Finally my May Glossybox came... in June. But, nonetheless, I am so super duper happy with the products that came in the box!

Basically, for those who don't know what Glossybox is, it's one of those beauty subscription services where you sign up for monthly beauty boxes to ship right to your door. Glossybox gives five travel size luxury brand products, specially planned out by their beauty editors and such. The annual subscription is $220 which is a better deal because you're given an approximately $30 discount.

It is their first or second Glossybox in the USA and I believe that had some trouble launching their website. I know I had a bit of a problem. But their customer services were wonderful. From the day they started accepting order, these boxes were so quickly sold out... I almost drew a breath of relief that I had gotten more order placed.

That being said, my excitement has been subdued by the arrival of my box today. There were five travel/full size products with a bonus Glossybox brush.

Products were:
  • Phytojobo Intense Hydrating Mask for Dry Hair
  • Burberry Lip Mist in the color Copper No. 202
