The Topshelf.

Ever wondered what my Topshelf actually looks like? It's actually a double-Topshelf since a glass separates what's actually on top and what is displayed below. You can see some of my favorite items that I in fact frequently talk about. Fragrances are of course, a must. Need I mention Diptyque as my all-time favorite? Watch. It takes the largest and center position of it all! I have a few candles placed here and there, ones especially from Cire Trudon, Diptyque, Tocca, and Neom. I have a glass mirror box on the left side, holding some of my favorite jewelries from Catbird.

Below my glass cover are assortments of unopened boxes and opened treats that I like to leave on for display. A new collection piece is the Larsson & Jennings watch that I am absolutely loving right now. I also have a few grab-and-go essentials like my Tangle-Teasers and hair-curl things for quick fixes.

All of my makeup is stored in the drawers right below this topshelf. As for skincare, that's stored in another compartment. If you want to see a gist of the setup, you can watch My Makeup Collection video if you'd like! Here, I'm linking it down below:

Do you recognize any of the items?

Aromatherapy!

I must admit, life's been pretty stressful. I've been spraying these two aromatherapeutic products on my pillows before I sleep. They are the Bath&Body Works Aromatherapy "Stress Relief" pillow mist and body mist. I wasn't one to believe in aromatherapy. A part of me thinks it's just the mind being fooled. But, I had to admit. I did feel slightly better when I smelt these therapeutics scents! I didn't purchase them. My mother had them sitting by her bedside and I thought I'd give it a try.

They have different ranges. The "Stress Relief" line is the spearmint lemongrass scent. It's this breezy yet spicy clean scent. It is a bit strong. You don't want to be dumping this on your body or on your pillows. Oh no! Just a few spritz here and there and you'll start feeling a bit "airy" and perhaps even that peaceful "lightheaded" feeling. Oh, I can't explain well but it feels slightly, slightly peaceful. No, unfortunately it won't cure all aches in the heart and mind, but it'll help you calm down a bit.

Try it if you will, you might find yourself liking aromatherapy more than you know. If you have some aromatherapy faves, do tell me down below. I'd love to know! I've personally been wanting to try the ThisWorks "Stress Less" mists (the UK brand). It's a bit pricey compared to these bottles that sell for around $10, which is a really good bargain considering how long they last! But if you do have faves, do tell me and perhaps tell me what's good about them? :)

I've placed them with my favorite Cire Trudon candle that I recently featured on my blog. These scents are absolutely calming and wonderful. When you have these scents going on and you walk into a room full of these deep scents, you feel like you're in a spa of your own. Hopefully that can de-stress your life a bit :)

Oh Earnesto! The Elegant Cire Trudon Candle

I can't believe I haven't blogged about this candle yet. Winter is coming and what better time is there than now to talk about candles? I'm almost done with this massive pot of glorious luxurious scent. I've mentioned it in a few videos I think and maybe mentioned it within posts, but not one exclusive post for this candle. Tisk tisk, shame on me. So, without further ado let me introduce to you this beautiful candle by Cire Trudon, called Earnesto.

This has to be my all time favorite candle, ever. I've burnt many-a-different candles, but nothing and I mean nothing comes as close to this. Not even one from my favorite brand Diptyque. Cire Trudon is the oldest candle company existing to current day. It had made candles for kings and queens in palaces and what not. My, and you'll know why.

Earnesto is one of their most popular scents. It has a very thick woody scent that is so welcoming and luxurious. Even before you burn it, the scent of the candle is so strong you can smell it all throughout your house. Wherever you are, you are instantly brought into the Golden Ages of France and suddenly you feel you've become Marie Antoinette! No exaggeration, really.

It's a massive pot I have to say. I begged my sister to get this for me in France because I assumed it was cheaper. Now, I haven't done the calculations but I think they are around a similar price if you get it here in NY. There is one Cire Trudon downtown NYC. I haven't been able to stop by that shop but I've seen pictures of the store and it looks marvelous!

I have to say, you get what you pay for. This bucket of luxurious wax is a hefty price more pricer than Diptyque's candles. I believe it starts from around $88. I had put off burning it for the longest time because it was too precious to burn away. But once you do, you don't regret spending that money on a candle. It lasts long and it smells so... so... good.

The case is also this beautiful green glass (different color for each scent) and this golden print on the front. Now, before I saw it in person, I thought that gold mark was engraved in the glass. Unfortunately, it's just a sticker! But, you couldn't tell could you? :) I can't wait to finish this up and use it to hold some cotton pads and buds or makeup brushes! All in all, too good!

Hello there, Beauty Favorites!

Judge me all you want as being shallow, but there is a kind of happiness about waking up each day to a selection of beautiful beauty products and pampering yourself with all sorts of things! Happiness can lie in greater things and of course they do, in areas miles and miles deeper. But to find a little joy in the small and shallow things don't make you shallow, nor are they a waste. It's fun and for all that it is, it's good to have fun sometimes!

Okay, so now that my intro is done, let me share with you some of my favorite beauty products! I have to say, honestly, that I love every single product I have. I don't regret a things I buy, besides a very few amount. I love using every single one of them, and it was quite difficult to select only a minimal few. However, I can say without hesitation, that these products are my absolutely favorites! I've repurchased most of them several times, never letting me down after all the uses I got from them.

I think a great deal of these products portray a good deal of the kind of makeup I like to wear. Someday I'd like to have a little tour through my minimal makeup collection and show you all that I have. I speak of each product as if they were my kidlings that need their own special attention in a special way.

From the Cire Trudon candle I've been obsessed with (had I the money, I'd stock up a closet full of them!) to the minuscule Benefit "Bella Bamba" blush sample, let me take you through some of the best beauty products (of course my opinion!) out there.

Take note of the beautiful setting please! Do tell me the whole setup is nice for I'm quite proud of it myself :)

French Pharmacie & Beauty Haul

My sister took a trip to Paris and while her stay there, I sent over a list of French products I wanted from their pharmacies. I've had quite a list built up from watching a lot of Youtubers and beauty gurus and their gush over French skincare. However, with the currency exchange and the calculation, most of them were near the same price as if you were to get them here in NY. The ones I feature in my video are ones that were slightly cheaper.

I also added in some miscellany products I was dying for as well. One was the Diptyque perfume which I heard was much cheaper in Paris than they were here. I am an addict of Diptyque and in particular, "my scent" is the Eau Duelle one. She stocked me up on a large and small bottle of it, and I couldn't be more content! I had run out of my old bottle just in time to start with these, fresh from Paris!

The other non-pharmacy product was the Cire Trudon candles... which if you are a candle junkie you will know that this is just a must-have (well, subjectively speaking). It's the oldest candle company run today and the packaging is the utmost regal. The store in fact, is here in NYC as well but the price just isn't a bargain. It's not shocking but still, if I could get it cheaper why not, right? The scent my sister bought for me was the Earnesto, which smells clean, fresh, herbal, and botanical!

Watch my video as I go through each product and gush over their divine beings... :)
