Byredo Parfums⎪Blanche

I carry this everywhere. If you don't already know, I am a fragrance-lover and I'm very keen on the fragrances I wear. The two brands that I rate as my all-time favorites are Diptyque and Byredo Parfums. (You can check out my fragrance videos on my Youtube channel)

From Byredo I've been eyeing the Blanche fragrance because of its really pure, clean, simple, yet sophisticated and fresh scent. It captures that perfect Sunday morning with clean bedsheets on a breezy Spring day, somewhere in the countryside.

Happily, Byredo has hand creams for certain fragrances and they had one for Blanche. It comes in a relatively small tube, and the power of the scent is there. I love that the scent is strong and lasts for more than a few minutes. The minute you open the tube and smear it on your hands, everyone around you notices it right away. Well, thank goodness it's a beautiful scent because people always ask what the scent is. I love that the scent is so fresh and clean, and times when I'm especially feeling icky, I love to pull this out and just waft that nasty smell away!

It is very moisturizing. It might leave a little bit of residue but it's gone in a few seconds. More than anything though is the scent and the packaging. I usually don't think that's a good enough of a reason, but because this is one of my favorites scents, I'll gladly repurchase this!

Jurlique Hand Cream in Jasmine

I was on a long search for a new never-tried lovely hand cream. I know hand creams are sometimes there-to-there and not really THAT much different from other ones, besides maybe the smell. But still, choosing the perfect hand cream can be quite difficult. So, basically here are the criteria it must fit:
  • NO RESIDUE or greasy feeling.
  • Really HYDRATING and SOFTENING!
  • REALLY NICE SMELL :)
  • CHIC packaging
  • Travel-friendly
  • Price friendly..................... TBC (To-be-considered)
I've tried over five different hand creams, all really nice for all different reasons but nothing truly fit all of those descriptions! But recently when I was in Korea (South -_-) I was able to stop by the Lotte Duty-Free store where I picked up a hand cream that fits ALL 5.5 of the criteria!

It's this Jurlique Hand cream. I have the one in Jasmine scent, but I also was able to pick up the smaller sizes for Rose and Lavender for my sisters. I love how the three of us have our favorite scents! :) Being the baby of the three, I selfishly bought myself the larger tube while my two sisters got the smaller ones.  I have to say though that the smaller tube looks really cute and pretty (packaging!).

What I love about this hand cream (besides the PRICE!!!! The larger 3.5oz was $42) is that the smell is so luxurious and divine! It's both fresh and creamy, and I've gotten to really love Jasmine after I tried the Forest Essentials Jasmine body oil (blogged about here). I have to say though that not all Jasmine products smell nice. However, happy to say this one is gorgeous!

Also, it does leave the hands super super soft! I mean, that is the purpose of a hand cream after all, isn't it? You not only get baby hands, but it stays that way for a long time!

The packaging really was the final bang. This tube has like the paint-like packaging when the imprints of pressure remains on the tube. The creamy ivory with their oh-so-chic brand printed on the surface makes it feel oh-so-fancy!

Oh I love it so much! If it's going to be a girl's essential bag item, might as well be something she's really digging? :) My sisters also love their hand creams, so that makes three girls in total verifying how great this is! Now, the price is something to be considered. The smaller bottle I believe was $24. If you aren't up for that, then by all means, search for something cheaper. But for now, I don't regret it at all!

I've never tried any Jurlique products at all. I had them on my mind for awhile because I've heard them mentioned here and there. No one ever RAVED about it, and so I never made the jump to try them. But fortunately, there were testers at the Duty-Free store and so after trying them, I knew I wanted them!

If anyone is looking for a soothing and luxurious hand cream, try this one out!

Butter London⎪Favorite Nude

Butter London's nail polishes are simply wonderful. The brush is great, the colors are gorgeous, and the polish stays on for over a week without losing their shine! Of the few I have, I have a continual obsession over "Tea with the Queen".

It's a pinky-browny nude that actually looks different in different lights. Under flash it looks really pale-pink nude, in the dark its mauve-y, and on regular daylights it's just a pastel nude! I love it and it's my favorite nude nail polish I go back to over and over again :)

Because I get lazy, I rarely use a topcoat when I apply Butter nail polishes. Instead, for a quicker dry I use OPI's "Quick Dry Spray" and it's done.
